A collection consisting of 11 wristwatches is being auctioned at Sotheby's in New York. It is assumed that their owner, the famous American actor Sylvester Stallone, will receive about $5 million.
The collection of watches put up for sale, according to experts, should bring millions. The final price of each of them at auction should be at least tens of thousands of dollars. Lots on display include the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon '50th Anniversary' in rose gold, the Luminor Submersible 1950 in bronze and titanium, and more.

However, the most valuable, and accordingly the most expensive, will be the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, a double-sided watch in white gold that was first presented in 2014.
This watch, purchased by the actor in 2021, is estimated at $2.5 million to $5 million. According to Stallone, it has "never been touched."
“This is the most complicated wristwatch ever created on the planet. There is nothing better," said the actor.

To get the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, Stallone wrote many letters to the company's management, even addressed the authorities. And in the end he managed to buy this watch.
The auction will be held on June 5.
