Painter
Volodymyr Vasilyevich
He was born on 06.12.1940 in the village of Zaruddya, Kremenchuk district, Poltava region, in the family of a simple craftsman Vasyl Hryhorovych and Praskovya Timofeevna. Volodymyr remembers his father as strict but fair, he says about his mother that he was a kinder soul person who, apparently, laid in him a love for nature, for beauty, which became the basis for his formation as a person, and the cornerstone for his creative achievement.
Dad was called to the front and little Volodya stayed with his mother on the farm. In those terrible war years, as Volodymyr recalls, childhood was not easy – cold and hungry.
Little Vova loved grandfather Timothy very much. He was a pious man: every morning he knelt down and prayed for half an hour before images, no one sat down to eat without prayer, and in the evening kneeling in front of icons, his grandfather performed his rite.
Little Vova spent his first years with his cousin Miroshnichenko (then Butenko) Nina Gnativna. Subsequently, the family moved to Kremenchuk. Volodya recalls how he and Nina, living in the village with their grandfather, secretly, fled by train to Kremenchuk – there was a noise: in search of children, they raised the whole village to their feet, and they sit safe and sound at his mother's place in the city, and even smile!
Then Vova had a school, where even then he became interested in drawing.
His youth, he boasts, was simply wonderful: his mother worked at a meat processing plant – sausages, and other meat products were full.
After graduating from one of the Kremenchuk schools, he confronts his parents with the fact that I am going to study in Moscow, and even for whom, to the faculty of directing. The father immediately opposed it, but he listened to his wife's persuasion and, collecting Vova's clunk, sent him to the Russian capital. That was 1971. What he just did not see there, such diversity, such colors, such luxuries, such wealth - I have not seen yet in life and probably will not see anymore, - Vladimir admits. But it didn't work out – having passed all the exams perfectly, one last, he still failed. And then, as Volodya says...
Upset and completely desperate, Vova returns home to his hometown. For a very long time, the fragile and tender soul of the artist could not move away from the experience. But as they say, time heals wounds. Vladimir gets a job as an artist at the Avtokraz plant. He works at a factory, draws at home. He writes more for the soul. He lives a calm, meek, unpretentious life. Will he take a loaf of bread as he leaves the market – he asks his neighbor – from the bazaar? – so says Volodymyr. What he bought, apparently bread, laughing, he up. Yes, - says Vladimir and calmly goes his own way. And what else does a person need for life, how to live correctly!?
Later, after the plant, having gathered strength and gained full lungs of air, Volodymyr went to study at the Kiev Order of Lenin of the State University. T.G. Shevchenko. He graduated in 1982 and received a degree in journalism.
He photographs, prints in Kremenchug publications, in particular, "Kremenchug Dawn", etc. And all this time Vladimir Vasilyevich does not cease to draw.
But for some reason, he did not work out with family life. Maybe somewhere in my youth, something happened, maybe the muse was the wrong one. However, he had neither a wife nor children.
Sometimes his works are sold, but most of all he writes for himself, then to pass on his creations to descendants.
05/27/2016 Vladimir Vasilyevich Maliar was gone. Here they are, the artists of the sixties.
The surname Painter – isn't it strange:)
