In 1937 he entered the Lugansk Art College.
After demobilization in 1947, he returned to Lugansk and completed his studies at the painting department of the art school.
From 1949 to 1955 he studied at the Kiev Art Institute with a degree in poster art.
His teachers were V. Kasiyan, I. Pleshchinsky, N. Khmelko.
The creative heritage of Ivan Dzyuban includes both poster works of the Soviet period, in which he was realized as a poster artist, and paintings, the writing of which he was inspired by numerous travels with a sketchbook behind his back throughout the Soviet Union.
Since 1974 - Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
I. Dzyuban's paintings were shown at numerous all-Union, republican and international exhibitions, including the XXX Biennale in Venice in 1960.
