The personality of Igor Stravinsky (1882–1971), an outstanding composer, was honored by philatelic issues of three countries with which he was associated with origin, study, creativity, residence: the USA, Russia, Ukraine.
The first stamp with his image was issued in the USA during his lifetime - in 1940, in 1994, a special non-postal envelope "Stravinsky and Ukraine" was issued in Ukraine, which was dedicated to the composer, and in 2007 Ukrposhta created a full-fledged philatelic issue.
