In 1941 it was subordinate to the Artillery Regimental Staff 720 at Artillery Commander 104 at the Naval Commander Channel Coast. The two batteries were inserted as follows:
- 1st battery with 6 x 15.5-cm guns at Le Clipon
- 2nd battery with 6 x 15.5-cm guns at Le Clipon
- The staff was at Ohe Plage
On April 10, 1941, the detachment received a third battery. The 3rd Battery was relegated to Battery (Sfl.) 917 on 7 February 1942. On September 15, 1943, the department was disbanded.
Replacement troop part was the Artillery Replacement Division 767."

Aufgestellt am 18. April 1940 mit zwei Batterien 21-cm Kanonen als Heerestruppe. Nach dem Westfeldzug lag die Abteilung im Westen an der Kanalküste. Sie unterstand 1941 dem Artillerie-Regiments-Stab 720 beim Artillerie-Kommandeur 104 beim Marinebefehlshaber Kanalküste. Die beiden Batterien waren wie folgt eingesetzt:
- 1. Batterie mit 6 x 15,5-cm Geschützen bei Le Clipon
- 2. Batterie mit 6 x 15,5-cm Geschützen bei Le Clipon
