Apparently, some kind of religious vessel of the Catholic rite, but in our modern realities it can be used as a small candy bowl, salad bowl or something like that.
The diameter of the round bowl is 13 cm, the maximum height (where the handles are) is 12 cm, the distance between the opposite extreme points of the handles is 18 cm.
Under the upper edge of the bowl there is an engraving - N. P. CHARAU DE VERNUSSE 1870.
There are a number of completely worn stamps, only their outline is visible. The nominal stamp of the manufacturer of the French standard is unmistakably recognizable - a diamond-shaped shield.

Диаметр круглой чаши 13 см, высота максимальная (там, где рукояти) 12 см, расстояние между противоположными крайними точками рукоятей - 18 см. Под верхним кантом чаши имеется гравировка - N. P. CHARAU DE VERNUSSE 1870. Имеется целый ряд полностью затёртых клейм, виден только их контур. Безошибочно узнаётся именное клеймо изготовителя французского стандарта - ромбовидный щит.

Значится так... предмет не поместился в измерительную камеру универсального спектрографа, способного определить содержание любого предмета. У меня есть узкоспециализированный спектрограф, который "заточен" на измерение соответствия предмета неким зашитым в память спектрографа образцам, он предназначен прежде всего для серебряных монет и слитков банковских чистых металлов. Я поигрался с режимами работы этого измерительного прибора и предметом. В нём есть режимы для монет 0.925, 0.800 и 0.900. Самое большое совпадение параметров предмета и эталонных параметров спектрографа было в режиме работы "серебряные монеты 900-й чистоты". Результат на фото. Понимаю, что особо ясности не внесло, но по меньшей мере очевидно, что чистота сплава ближе к 900-й, чем к 800-й.
