The material of many articles of the present, fifth edition of the "Philosophical Dictionary". Updated, clarified and brought into line with modern data of scientific and philosophical thought. The dictionary has been supplemented with a number of new terms and articles.
The dictionary uses a single system of references and a number of abbreviations common for reference books (see the list below). The word or words denoting the title of the article in the text are replaced by the first letter. For example, in the article "Aristotle" instead of the full surname of the philosopher, the letter "A" is given. If the title of the article consists of several words, then all of them in the text are also indicated by the first letters. For example, in the text of the article "Content and Form" instead of the full title is "S. and F."; in the text of the article "Absolute and relative truth"
"A and." means "Absolute Truth", "O. I." means "Relative Truth". All words typed in italics in the article are referential. For example, in the article "Anarchism" we read: "The emergence of A is associated with the names of Schmidt (Stirner), Proudhon, Bakunin."
The statements of K. Marx and F. Engels are given according to the second edition of the works, V. I. Lenin - according to the Complete Works, except in cases where this is specifically stipulated.
The book is of standard format, in hardcover. The condition is good.
