To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the events of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921. and the first Ukrainian paper money NBU issued a souvenir banknote "One hundred rubles",
which reproduces the design of the first Ukrainian banknote – a state loan ticket with a face value of 100 rubles (the author of the sketch of the banknote is Heorhii Narbut).
The image of a trident on this banknote was one of the main factors in the approval of the grand ducal sign of Vladimir the Great
as the State Emblem of the UPR and almost two months ahead of the relevant law of the Central Rada on the State Emblem.
During the production of the souvenir banknote, special protected paper was used, which consists of flax fibers – up to 85% and cotton cellulose.
The paper of the banknote contains a local watermark in the form of a trident, the middle tooth of which is topped with a cross.
The size of the banknote is 80 x 170 mm.

На відзначення 100-річчя подій Української революції 1917–1921 рр. і перших українських паперових грошей НБУ випустив сувенірну банкноту "Сто карбованців",
яка відтворює дизайн першої української банкноти – державного кредитового білета номіналом 100 карбованців (автор ескізу банкноти – Георгій Нарбут).
Зображення на цій банкноті тризуба стало одним із головних чинників утвердження великокняжого знака Володимира Великого
як Державного герба УНР і майже на два місяці випередило відповідний закон Центральної Ради про Державний герб.
Під час виготовлення сувенірної банкноти використано спеціальний захищений папір, який складається з волокон льону – до 85% та бавовняної целюлози.
Папір банкноти містить локальний водяний знак у вигляді тризуба, середній зуб якого увінчаний хрестом.
Розміри банкноти – 80 х 170 мм.
