Radlov, taking into account the latest achievements of Turkic lexicology and lexicography, but for various reasons they were not implemented. Meanwhile, this dictionary, which, with the development of Turkic linguistics and other scientific disciplines related to the study of Turkic languages, is in increasing demand, has long been a bibliographic rarity. In an effort to meet the needs of linguists, literary critics, historians and other scientific and practical workers, the Publishing House of Oriental Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR undertakes this photomechanical reprint of the "Experience of the Dictionary of Turkic Dialects". The dictionary was published from 1888 to 1911 and was published in separate editions, amounting to four volumes, Good. The pages have darkened a little from time to time.

Радлова до сих пор является единственным тюркоязычным словарем сравнительного типа, а материал по многим тюркским языкам и диалектам подчас можно найти только в этом словаре. В 20-е годы нашего столетия выдвигались проекты переработки и пополнения словаря ВЛЭ. Радлова с учетом новейших достижений тюркской лексикологии и лексикографии, однако по разным причинам они не были осуществлены. Между тем этот словарь, который по мере развития тюркского языкознания и других научных дисциплин, связанных с изучением тюркских языков, пользуется все большим спросом, давно уже стал библиографической редкостью. Стремясь удовлетворить потребности лингвистов, литературоведов, историков и других научных и практических работников, Издательство восточной литературы Академии наук СССР предпринимает это фотомеханическое переиздание “Опыта словаря тюркских наречий”. Словарь издавался с 1888 по 1911 г. и выходил в свет отдельными выпусками, составившими четыре тома, Хорошее. Страницы немного потемнели от времени.
