The Iron Cross award is one of the awards of the Ukrainian Liberation War of 1917-1921. At the same time, it is the only combat insignia of the UPR Army. Its full name is "The Iron Cross for the Winter Campaign and Battles."
This distinction was awarded to the soldiers of the army of the Ukrainian People's Republic, who took part in the First Winter Campaign. The awardees were called "Knights of the Order of the Iron Cross".
