The Ukrainian Galician Army (UGA) is the armed forces of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic (ZUNR). Their creation began in November 1918 for the defense of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic in the conditions of war with the Poles. The basis of the UGA was made up of the battalions of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, as well as volunteers.
The most successful offensive operation of the UGA was the Chortkiv offensive (June 7-28, 1919). During the counteroffensive, the UGA pushed Polish troops from Chortkiv to Zolochiv and Brody. Carried out against the superior forces of the enemy with a shortage of ammunition and the absence of strategic reserves, this military operation wrote a bright page in the history of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921.

Українська Галицька Армія (УГА) – збройні сили Західноукраїнської Народної Республіки (ЗУНР). Їхнє творення розпочалося в листопаді 1918 року для оборони ЗУНР в умовах війни з поляками. Основу УГА становили курені Українських Січових Стрільців, а також добровольці.
