The postal issue is dedicated to Ukrainian lighthouses and continues the series of postage stamps launched in 2009-2010. Among the lighthouses depicted on the stamps of 2020 issue: a unique lighthouse on Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea (Odesa region), Stanislav-Adzhiholskyi Zadniy, located in the Kherson region near the village of Rybalche, the Biriuchyi lighthouse on Biriuchyi Island in the Kherson region, as well as three Crimean lighthouses – Illinsky (at Cape St. Elijah), Meganom (at Cape Meganom) and Yevpatoria (in the Kalamitsky Bay).
