UAHresearch of an Ottoman café in Kamianets-Podilskyi. This unique complex was discovered in 2016 on the Polish market. This book is the first volume of a planned edition. It provides an analysis of ceramic finds and a description of field research of the coffee shop.
, 296 p.
The monograph covers the results of research of the closed complex of the Kamianets eyalet era (1672-1699). In 2016, the KamianetsPodilskyi Architectural and Archaeological Expedition conducted research in the southeastern part of the Polish Market Square. The remains of an adobe structure with a wooden frame on a stone foundation were discovered. More than 3000 artifacts were found in the filling of the structure.
The first volume of the "Materials of Research of the Ottoman Coffee House on the Polish Market" contains chapters devoted to field research, analysis of the collection of ceramic dishes and pipes.
The publication of the obtained materials is important, given the closed nature of the archaeological complex on the Polish Market Square.
