A set of collectible Chinese porcelain paired large vases (30 cm) and a large hollow egg on a wooden figured stand. The color is celadon (zinc in China) with cracked ice craquelure.
Celadon is a ceramic of jade shades from light green to green, dark green or gray-blue, with a special type of clay mass and glaze and a special firing regime, which was invented and perfected during the reign of the Song dynasty (960-1126).
In the early 80s, Chinese craftsmen restored the ancient technique of qingqi production and made such exact copies of the original products of the thirteenth century. from Longquan's workshops, which were capable of misleading experienced experts.
In 2009, the traditional technology of burning Longquan celadon was included in the UNESCO list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
