The study of the role of the so-called autoimmunological processes in the pathogenesis and clinical presentation of the following groups of diseases has been particularly advanced: acquired hemolytic anemia, immunoleuko- and thrombopenia, immunoplasmopathy, glomerulonephritis, hepatitis, rheumatic fever, primary chronic polyarthritis and related collagenosis, visceral erythematosis, polyneuritis, sympathetic ophthalmia, and immunovascular purpura.
