Hardcover, Slightly enlarged format Mikhail Petrovich Korsavin was an outstanding conductor, composer and pianist. In 1953 he graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with three diplomas. After graduation, he conducted a symphony orchestra in various philharmonics, until he settled in Odessa. He also performed as an accompanist at concerts of outstanding Soviet musicians, and many of them wanted to be accompanied only by him. Korsavin wrote the book "Thoughts on the Art of Conducting" in 1994, but did not have time to publish it. In 2005, Mikhail's widow handed over the manuscript, as well as documents and photographs from the family archive to Vladimir Danilovich and Elena Vladimirovna Stakhovsky, who became the compilers of the published book. Thanks to "Plaska", a very high quality edition was obtained, including the above-mentioned manuscript, the musicians' memoirs of Korsavin, copies of documents, letters, photographs, concert posters and programs

Выступал также в качестве аккомпаниатора на концертах выдающихся советских музыкантов, и многие из них хотели, чтобы им аккомпанировал только он. Книгу «Мысли о дирижерском искусстве» Корсавин написал в 1994 году, но так и не успел издать. В 2005 году вдова Михаила передала рукопись, а также документы и фотографии из семейного архива Владимиру Даниловичу и Елене Владимировне Стаховским, которые стали составителями вышедшей книги. Благодаря «Пласке» получилось издание очень высокого качества, включающее вышеупомянутую рукопись, воспоминания музыкантов о Корсавине, копии документов, писем, фотографий, концертных афиш и программок
