The guide describes the principles of treating open fractures, the basics of the plaster technique, various methods of treating injuries of the musculoskeletal system and organizational aspects of providing assistance in case of damage to the tubular bones, pelvic bones and spine. The use of surgical approaches from the point of view of operative surgery and anatomical and topographic relationships of damaged bone tissue with other organs and tissues is substantiated. From a modern standpoint, the method of postoperative rehabilitation treatment of patients is considered, the methods of therapeutic exercise and occupational therapy are given, and physical methods of treatment are briefly highlighted.
