Shtompel Mykola Dmytrovych (1951-2021) painter, teacher, was born in the village of Novopetrivske. He received his initial artistic training in the studio of fine arts (headed by O.M. Symonenko) of the Mykolayiv House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. In 1972 he graduated from Odessa State Pedagogical Institute named after K.D. Ushynsky, Faculty of Art and Graphics.
He defended his diploma work "Masters of the Earth" (supervisor of the diploma - Logvinov I.D.) with excellent marks.
Participant of republican and all-Union competitions and exhibitions since the age of 14. He has four solo exhibitions. The works of M.D. Shtompel are in the collections of private individuals and collectors in Ukraine and Germany.
Dozens of his students became winners of regional and All-Ukrainian competitions, festivals, graduated and are now studying in secondary and higher art educational institutions.

Штомпель Микола Дмитрович (1951-2021) живописець, педагог, народився в с.Новопетрівське. Початкову художню підготовку здобув у студії образотворчого мистецтва (керівник Симоненко О.М.) Миколаївського будинку піонерів і школярів. У 1972 р. закінчив Одеський державний педагогічний інститут ім.К.Д.Ушинського, художньо-графічний факультет.
Дипломну роботу "Господарі землі" (керівник диплома - Логвинов І.Д.) захистив на "відмінно".
Учасник республіканських і всесоюзних конкурсів і виставок з 14 років. Має чотири персональні виставки. Роботи М.Д.Штомпеля знаходяться в колекціях приватних осіб і колекціонерів України та Німеччини.
Десятки його учнів ставали переможцями обласних та Всеукраїнських конкурсів, фестивалів, закінчили й нині навчаються в середніх та вищих мистецьких навчальних закладах.
