Ivan Marchuk is a People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, a member of the Golden Guild of the Roman Academy of Contemporary Art. He was included in the ranking of the 100 greatest geniuses of our time, which was compiled by the British newspaper "The Daily Telegraph" in 2007. The artist's oeuvre includes about five thousand paintings of twelve creative cycles from hyperrealism to abstract surrealism.
