The Ukrainian Galician Army (UGA) is the armed forces of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic (ZUNR). Their creation began in November 1918 for the defense of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic in the conditions of war with the Poles. The basis of the UGA was made up of the huts of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, as well as volunteers.
The most successful offensive operation of the UGA was the Chortkiv Offensive (June 7-28, 1919).
