Вітаю!
В молодості (за радянських часів) я такі лінзи з шарніром бачив на токарних станках. Правда, там "плече" було під 30 см. Можливо, це з тієї ж "опери", тільки для маленького токарного?

Ще могла використовуватися при стаціонарних точилках, шліфувалках і т.д. в ювелірних чи ремонтних (будинки побуту) майстернях.
