Тема возникает раз в две недели. Подробно отвечать надоело, а ссылку дать не могу, т.к. кто-то тему с моим развёрнутым ответом кто-то удалил.
Вкратце - от нагрева из монеты выпарилось много цинка, поэтому масса уменьшилась, а цвет стал более красным (% меди в поверхностном слое вырос).
ГОСТ 15527-70 (Cu 57÷60%; Mn 1÷2%; Zn остальное).
