Доброго. Широкий кант поширене явище на монетах (25к., 50к., 1грн.) пов"язане з проточкою штемпеля. Як що  маєтся на увазі витискання "зайвого" металлу ( облой) на кромці гурт-кант, то це теж звичайне явище.
