Violity has traditionally announced the top ten price records of the past month. A video with a selection of the most expensive lots of October was released on November 22 on the platform's official YouTube channel.
The total amount from the sale of 10 antiques from ten different sections of the site amounted to UAH 2 million 98 thousand 926.
The top ten is a lot from the Ceramics, Porcelain and Glass section with a selling price of 62,254 UAH. This is a decorative porcelain plate with a portrait of Taras Shevchenko, made in the early twentieth century at the Myrhorod Art and Industrial School named after Mykola Gogol.
For the first time, our rating includes a price record holder in the Uniforms section. This is a rare uniform of a military doctor of the 1st-4th class from the reign of Emperor Alexander II, for which the seller accepted a price offer of 80,000 UAH.
The seventh place went to the most expensive lot in the “Paintings and Graphics” section - a still life by the famous Ukrainian artist Vitalii Vitaliiovych Kononenko. The work titled “Cherries and Salad”, painted in a bright expressive author's style, was purchased for 115,001 UAH.
