A 1958 BMW 507 has been put up for sale at RM Sotheby’s in Paris. The car is expected to sell for €2 million.
This sports car features an elegant design designed by Count Albrecht von Hertz. The two-seater roadster is powered by a 3.2-liter V8 with 150 hp and a 4-speed manual transmission. The car is capable of reaching a top speed of 196 km/h.

Some time after it rolled off the assembly line, this 1958 BMW 507 was shipped to Cuba. In the 1980s, it was bought back and transported to Germany, where the car was awaiting restoration.
The roadster is being sold along with its removable roof, spare gas tank, and body panels.

It is noted that only 252 BMW 507 roadsters were produced. Among their owners were Elvis Presley and Formula 1 and motorcycle racing champion John Surtees.
Auctioneers believe that the buyer has every chance of getting €2 million for this 1958 BMW 507. Such cars are highly valued by collectors and the value of some of them may even exceed this mark.
