The top ten price record holders were announced on Violity last month. A video with a list of the most expensive lots in March was released on April 18 on the platform's official YouTube channel.
The total amount of money raised from the sale of 10 antiques from 10 different sections of Violity amounted to UAH 811,739.
The top ten spot in the ranking was taken by an ancient nobleman's wax seal with heraldic elements of the family coat of arms. During the auction, the most expensive sphragistic artifact last month received 112 bids and was purchased for UAH 39,300.
For the second month in a row, price records were broken by electronic equipment. This time, collectors fought fiercely for a rare Soviet portable radio station “Sever”, which was widely used during the German-Soviet war. The winning 64th bid brought the seller UAH 45,001.
On the sixth place with a selling price of UAH 50,101 is an exquisite porcelain vase of the Kyiv Experimental Ceramic and Art Factory depicting a monument to Taras Shevchenko and Petrykivka painting by the famous Ukrainian artist Hanna Pavlenko.
