Violity announced the ten price record holders of the past month. A video with a list of the most expensive lots in May was released on June 20 on the platform's official YouTube channel.
The total amount from the sale of 10 antiques from 10 different sections of the site was 993,785 UAH.
In tenth place is a lot for true connoisseurs of pedal technology. It is a children's car called “Laika,” which was produced in the 1960s at the Lviv Forklift Truck Plant. This rare example of Soviet “pedal automotive industry” was purchased for 30,000 UAH.
The ninth place went to a New Year's cotton toy called Polar Mail in the form of a fairy-tale character — a white bear on skis. This Soviet Christmas tree decoration in good condition was purchased for 30,181 UAH.
The seventh place went to the most expensive lot in the “Old Books” section — an extremely rare book published in 1845 with twelve portraits of military leaders by Taras Shevchenko. At the end of the auction, the seller accepted the buyer's offer of 53,000 UAH.
