Violity announced the top ten price record holders for the past month. A video listing the most expensive lots in June was released on July 18 on the platform's official YouTube channel.
The total amount from the sale of 10 antiques from 10 different sections of the site amounted to 702,103 UAH.
In tenth place in our selection is the most expensive toy of June — the L-02 locomotive in a rare configuration: with a tender and two platforms. This rare Soviet toy from the middle of the last century was purchased for 21,501 UAH.
The ninth place went to a rare 2 hryvnia banknote of the Ukrainian People's Republic, designed by artist Vasyl Krychevsky and printed in Berlin in 1918. One of the first Ukrainian paper hryvnias from a rare series was valued by collectors at 25,000 UAH.
For the first time, a lot from the section “Collectible items made of fabric, leather, and fur” made it into the ranking. This is a collection of eight antique harus edges — colorful woven belts with floral ornaments and sewn-in toroks, for which buyers offered the highest bid of 29,000 UAH.
