An amazing thing happened in the world of archeology: scientists from Germany and Tajikistan, like the modern Champollion, deciphered the mysterious Kushan script, which had eluded researchers for centuries. By comparing texts in three languages, they recreated the thread of the ancient culture and history of the Kushan Empire* , adding light to the mysteries of its past.
The Kushan Empire is an ancient state that existed from the 1st to the 3rd centuries AD. The empire occupied vast territories, including the modern countries of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and the northern part of India.
One of the main finds is the name of the ruler Vema Takhtu, which for a long time caused controversy. This approach, reminiscent of the Rosetta Stone* method , has allowed scholars to penetrate the world of Kushan writing and uncover its key messages, including "king of kings" and "great savior."

The Rosetta Stone method is an analogy to the approach used by the French philologist Jean-Francois Champollion to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs. The Rosetta Stone is an ancient Egyptian written monument on which the same text was written in three languages: Egyptian hieroglyphs, Demotic (folk) writing and Greek.
Deciphering half of the characters is just the beginning. Further research promises to reveal more secrets about the Kushan Empire, giving us new insights into its history and cultural wealth.
