For the professional holiday of railway workers, which is celebrated in Ukraine on November 4, Ukrposhta presented the postal block "Heroic professions. Iron men". The philatelic novelty was redeemed in Chernihiv a few days ago.
The block consists of two stamps "Evacuation train. Kherson →" and "→ Lviv. Evacuation train", which tells the story of true heroism and resilience of railway workers. Honors the unsung heroes of the railroad, often referred to as the "Iron Men."

The set consists of a stamp, a "first day" envelope and a postcard. The new postage stamp has an international format and consists of two parts: one shows an evacuation train leaving Kherson, the other shows the same train arriving in Lviv.
The circulation of the philatelic novelty was 150,000 copies and it can be purchased from November 1.
The new postal block from Ukrposhta is a significant initiative to honor people who have dedicated their lives to the profession. It aims to celebrate the hard work, dedication and sacrifice of people who work on the railways.
