Dmytro Muzychuk personally knows what it's like to donate exhibits from his collection, because he has already donated 31 branded bricks to the future Museum of Brick and Tile Making, which is planned to be opened in Opishny.
Collecting bricks is a rather unusual direction, and Dmytro Muzychuk, who currently lives in Kyiv, became interested in it about 10 years ago. He got a brick in his hands and he immediately understood that he should start with it. For Dmytro, it was art, the art of entrepreneurs of one or another century, where every master could leave his mark, a signature - a brand.

Now the collector's collection includes almost 500 specimens, the vast majority of which were made in Ukraine. These are bricks from old buildings that were demolished and demolished. And all that remains of them, unfortunately, are these pebbles.
Dmytro Muzychuk adds that brick collecting is a specific area where "colleagues in the hobby" usually know each other. At least those that are large enough gatherings.

The love of preserving history brought Dmytro Muziychuk to the museum in Opishnoy several years ago. He was impressed by the enthusiasm and attitude of the people who work there. Since the collector was from the Poltava region, he could not stand aside and help replenish the regional coffers of his region. He decided to donate bricks from his collection to the future Brick and Tile Museum.
For example, one of the exhibits is a yellow brick from the Kyiv region. The color, as noted by the collector, depended on the type of clay. Other donated exhibits have a brand: some have their full name and surname, some have only one capital letter, and some have initials and the year of issue.
