Luxury on wheels: a collection of retro cars was put up for auction in Paris
RM Sotheby's auction in Paris will be the venue for the sale of a collection of vintage cars consisting of 16 rarities produced between 1919 and 1992. It is noted that the cars are intended not only for collectors, but also for those who value automotive heritage and want to immerse themselves in the history of the world automotive industry.

The total value of this unique collection, according to preliminary estimates, exceeds 3 million euros. Some of the machines have been restored to their original condition, others still need restoration.

One of the most expensive items in this collection is the 1919 Hispano Suiza H6. This car is valued at about half a million euros. This is the first produced copy of the model, which was presented to King Alonso XIII of Spain. The refined design and technical characteristics of the car turn this auction lot into a real treasure for collectors.

Also featured in the auction are luxury cars such as a 1920 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, a 1930 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A and a 1934 Hispano-Suiza J12 limousine. These cars are valued at around 400,000 euros and attract attention with their elegance and technical excellence. In particular, the Hispano-Suiza J12 limousine belonged to the owner of the Christian Dior brand, Marcel Boussac.

Among others, the 1934 Packard Twelve luxury coupe and a pair of Rolls-Royce sedans, the 1933 Phantom II and the 1936 Phantom III, deserve attention. These cars cost about 200,000 euros.

It is a collection that represents a variety of brands and eras - Ferrari supercars of the 80s and 90s - 512 BB, 308, 328 and Testarossa coupes, British coupes Rolls-Royce Camargue 1981 and Jaguar XJR-S 1992, Cadillac Series 62 1948 and the Bigata Douze racing car of 1947.
