On February 8, at 4:00 p.m., a solemn presentation of the facsimile edition of the Lviv Apostle took place in Sofia Kyivska. Specialists of the Ukrainian Academy of Printing, the National Museum in Lviv named after Sheptytsky and the Lviv National Scientific Library of Ukraine named after Stefanyk worked on the book. The work continued for nearly two years of full-scale invasion.

The humanitarian and educational project was implemented by the "Sparrow" publishing house, the "Sofia Kyivska" National Reserve, the Voznytskyi Charitable Foundation and the Violity website. "Apostol", or "Apostolic Acts and Epistles" by Ivan Fedorovych is considered the oldest precisely dated book in Ukraine - the Lviv printer and engraver worked on it from February 25, 1573 to February 15, 1574.
The facsimile reprint of the outstanding first edition will make it more accessible to scientists and researchers, will contribute to the preservation and dissemination of the national cultural heritage.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy also emphasized the importance of supporting culture during the war.
"The reprint celebrates the enormous merits of the printed word and the life and creative feat of the "printer of previously unseen books" Ivan Fedorovych, a master of book art, a talented artist-engraver, engineer, foundry, East Slavic humanist and educator of the 16th century," - notes in the announcement of the event MKIP.
