"Ukrainian pysanka is stronger than a racist tank": a woman from Zhovkiv set a Ukrainian record

On April 28, 2024, a local woman set a Ukrainian record in the central square of Zhovkva. Halyna Kovalska made 10 hand-embroidered Easter eggs. 

The central street of the city was decorated with Easter eggs, the height of which varies from 90 cm to 1.5 m. The largest of them is "Dityacha", which is decorated with 583 small Easter eggs embroidered by children of the Lviv district.

 "Ukraine's record was set on the central square in Zhovkiv... It was set for the second time by a resident of the city - Halyna Kovalska, who created 10 hand-embroidered easter eggs," the Zhovkiv city council said in a message on its official Facebook page. 

Kostyantyn Kostyrko and Viktoriya Tochek set a record called "Ukrainian pysanka is stronger than a racist tank: unites us and leads to Victory" and awarded a diploma.

This is already the second record in the treasury of the craftswoman. Previously, Halyna Kovalska got into the book of records of Ukraine because of her handmade Christmas tree decorations. For example, this year the Christmas tree growing in the central square of Zhovkva was decorated with 150 patriotic balls with motifs of ancient and modern Ukrainian embroidery.
