Ancient shrouds from Galician churches were shown in the Lviv Region
On April 25, an exhibition of ancient shrouds of Galician churches began in the church of the holy martyr Klymentii Sheptytskyi of the UGCC and in the museum of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi. The event is dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers who defended and continue to defend our country. It aims to unite and support Ukrainians in this difficult time.
Among the exhibits presented in the church and museum are 14 shrouds, which were found by the abbot of the church and the director of the museum, Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi. Sevastyan Dmytrokh in the Lviv region and 17 forged crosses of Oleh Bonkovsky.

Private icons of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi and Greek Catholic bishops, copies of icons by Andrey Sheptytskyi, and works of European artists brought to Ukraine are also for the attention of visitors.
"Looking at these canvases, different feelings appear. Feelings of love and suffering, life and death, worship and reverence, goodness and resurrection. But in addition to the spiritual dimension, each shroud also fascinates with its beauty and art, reflects not only religious images, but also expresses spirituality and faith," said Ivan Sobko, deputy head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
