The Central General Store of the capital, together with the Maria Prymachenko Family Foundation and the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine, organized an exhibition dedicated to the work of the Ukrainian folk artist.
The shop windows have turned into a real gallery, which is aimed at revealing different aspects of the life and creativity of a young woman who worked in the genre of "naive art". A total of seven showcases were designed in a similar style.

Among the creative proposals is a symbolic self-portrait of Maria Oksentiivna from her unpublished autobiography, which has the form of a lion "Beast of Polesky". The second showcase is decorated with flowers from Prymachenko's shirt, which she embroidered herself, and flowers from the painting "Oh, you horses."
Visitors to the Central Museum of Contemporary Art can also see the pink oven that appeared in the illustration of the Mystkina's book "Tovche baba mak". Also on display are ceramic works, in particular, painted plates and the sculpture "Crocodile".

The fifth showcase is decorated with a reproduction of the painting "Monkey-rider", as well as a fragment of the painting "Fairytale".
The illustrative theme continues further - through the elements created by Maria Oksentiivna for five children's books: "Oi koniky sivashi", "Tovche baba poppy", "The black man takes a shower", "What you sow is what you reap" and "The hare wanted to sleep" , which were published by "Veselka" publishing house.

A symbolic image of the artist next to her famous "Black Beast" completes the composition.
