Exhibits from various Ukrainian museums are exhibited in Lithuania
The National Museum of Lithuania became the venue for the exhibition "Kyiv Rus. Vytoky", which started today, September 18.

Visitors will be able to see exhibits that have never been exhibited either in Lithuania or the Baltic States. In total, about 700 objects are presented at the exhibition, more than 300 of which belong to Ukrainian museums. A large part was provided by the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
Among the exhibited objects are gold and silver products, jewelry of the elite of Kyivan Rus, treasures. They will be complemented by Viking weapons and household items, crafts and trade, coins, etc.

"This is part of the gold fund of Ukrainian museums, which they agreed to lend to us for the exhibition. These exhibits will represent the heritage of the luxurious Kyivan Rus and will make it possible to tell the story of the creation and flourishing of this state in the early Middle Ages, which spans almost three centuries," said the general director of the museum, curator of the exhibition, Dr. Ruta Kachkute.
The exhibition will run from September 18, 2024 to March 30, 2025 in Vilnius.
