Collector and maker of soldiers Mykhailo Zolotar is a guest of “Listen to Violity” podcast
In childhood, probably everyone had toy soldiers. However, not everyone, having grown up, began to produce them for the world market. That's exactly what the hero of the new episode of the Listen to Violity podcast, entrepreneur Mykhailo Zolotar, did.

Mykhailo has been collecting soldiers since he was a child, for several decades now. He has always been most interested in historical miniatures - brave Vikings, samurai, cowboys, soldiers of the Napoleonic army, etc.
At some point, realizing that there were no figures of the bravest and most famous soldiers of today - members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the man decided to create them himself.
Founded in Kyiv in 2022, Mykhailo's company Sky Hobby produces unique miniatures of Ukrainian military, political and public figures that are now sold all over the world. The 3D figures are made of metal and plastic.

The assortment also includes miniature monuments, military equipment, and much more. The company also fulfills individual orders. This is how Mykhailo's collection of more than a thousand figurines includes his own.
The guest told host Denys Minin what difficulties he has faced over the years of Sky Hobby's operation, how he finds subjects for his works, and which miniatures are currently in the greatest demand. You will learn how the process of creating a soldier looks like in stages and how to choose the right material for it. They also talked about volunteer work, the perception of the military by Ukrainian society, and what kind of figure Mykhailo dreams of creating the most.
So, don't miss the premiere of the new episode of “Listen to Violity” on the Violity PRO Collecting YouTube channel on Monday, October 7, at 18:00.
