Hi everyone!
I recently found this bronze ring using a metal detector in [insert your region or leave blank if you prefer]. It appears quite old, and on the seal part of the ring, there's an engraved symbol that I can't identify.
🔍 The symbol looks like two mirrored "Y" shapes, one pointing up, the other down – or like a stylized double "Algiz" rune. Some people said it might be runic, others suggest it could be an early medieval personal mark or a form of magical symbol.
📷 Photos attached (front and side view).
Do you recognize this symbol?
Could it be from a particular era or culture?
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
