The next episode of the Violity podcast will soon be released on YouTube. This time, philatelist and blogger Andrii Sizov visited Denys Minin in the studio.
Andrii's interest in collecting began with numismatics, but later he became so fascinated by philately that his collection of envelopes and stamps occupies 15 cabinets at home.
At first, his main interest was in postal products dedicated to prominent personalities. The collection also included Soviet figures, but his interest in them waned during the Revolution of Dignity. At the same time, on the Maidan, Andrii met the famous Ukrainian philatelist and public figure Oleksandr Kanivets, and since then he considers him his teacher.
Andrii has a YouTube channel where he not only talks about stamps, but also talks about postcards, gives tours of flea markets, and shows his acquisitions from abroad.
During the conversation, the guest told Denys about how he tried to get into the Guinness Book of Records, how he unsuccessfully sold a monument to Lenin on Petrivka and how he was surprisingly successful in selling Smelyansky's autograph on eBay.

We talked about pricing in the philatelic market and investing in philatelic products, the legendary “Black Penny” and letters from the Gulag, the Own Stamp and the shortcomings of Ukrposhta.
What is the main value of stamps? What should a beginner philatelist know and be able to do? How do postal relays and exhibitions work and what is a boomerang? The answers to these questions are in our episode.
