Violity has announced the top ten price records of last month. A video with a list of the most expensive lots in February was released on May 17 on the platform's official YouTube channel.
The total amount from the sale of 10 antiques from 10 different sections of the site amounted to 782,208 UAH.
Our rating is opened by a rare book published in 1895 on the occasion of the centenary of the city of Odesa. The unique edition with a historical description, maps and views of the pearl city by the Black Sea was bought for 35,000 UAH.
The ninth place went to a rare marine binoculars with a rangefinder grid made at the Geodesy plant in the 1960s. The collector bought one of the best Soviet binoculars for 35,001 UAH.
The seventh place went to an ancient icon of the Archangel Michael with the Powers of Heaven, which, according to the seller, was a small iconostasis of the adjacent church of the Cossack starshyna. The holy image, painted in the 18th century in the Poltava region, was valued at 40,000 UAH.
