At the Heritage Auctions in Hong Kong, a rare silver pattern coin Hsüan-t’ung
At the recent HKINF World Coins Platinum Session and Signature® Auction - Hong Kong, conducted by Heritage Auctions, an extraordinary sale took place. The highlight of the auction was a rare silver pattern coin, Hsüan-t’ung "Long-Whiskered Dragon Dollar" from the 3rd year (1911), certified by NGC as SP63. The coin was sold for an astonishing amount of $690,000, garnering attention and leading the auction, which totaled $9,675,525 from June 21 to 23.
This auction success, according to Chris Birrenbach, Executive Vice President of International Numismatics at Heritage Auctions, highlights the demand for elite world and ancient coins and confirms Heritage Auctions' status as a global leader among auction houses specializing in numismatics.

"It was another fantastic performance by Heritage Auctions in Hong Kong, which not only reaffirms the state of the market," he said, "but also demonstrates that Heritage Auctions continues to set world record prices for world-class materials."
