Switzerland is known for its extraordinary landscapes, majestic mountains and lakes, which throughout history have been a constant source of inspiration for artists. But there is one artist who took the connection with nature to a whole new level. The artist, who works under the pseudonym Seip, transforms the alpine slopes into his canvas, creating stunning large-scale paintings that blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the mountains.
The Swiss-French artist was drawn to nature from a young age and found solace in the mountains. As he honed his artistic talents over the years, he began to dream of a way to combine his love of art with a deep appreciation for the alpine landscapes that shaped his life.

Seip's paintings, which cover an area of about 3,000 square meters, can be seen from the mountain tops and nearby pastures. They symbolize the need to abandon monotony and look at art in a different way. So far, the artist has created two giant images of children in the Swiss village of Villard-sur-Ollon, who paint the world around them as they see it.
To create his paintings, Daniel used environmentally friendly, biodegradable paints that would not harm the delicate ecosystems of the Alps. His drawings are created simply on the grass and can last for several days, depending on the weather.

Seip is best known for his "Beyond the Walls" series, in which he painted giant hands clasping each other on the ground in 30 different cities around the world, including Paris, Istanbul, Berlin and Cape Town. His monumental works are designed to act as a "human chain" connecting different peoples and cultures.
What makes Seip's works truly exceptional is the way they blend organically into the landscape. His choice of subjects is often inspired by his natural surroundings, with paintings of mountain wildlife, alpine flowers and abstract designs that follow the contours of the mountains themselves. Viewed from a distance, it can be difficult to tell where art ends and nature begins, creating a deep sense of unity between the two.

Seip's work is a testament to the strong connection between art and nature, and serves as inspiration for artists and nature lovers alike.
