This Friday, the Violity PRO Collecting YouTube channel will premiere the next episode of Ekaterina Pimenova's program.
This time, the art observer will visit the Odesa collector Denys Mickiewicz.
You will see his solid collection of furniture, lamps and other household items from the 1920s and 1990s in the episode titled “From Trash to Treasures”.
For many years, Denis has been fascinated by vintage decor, its history and the variety of industrial design styles of the 20th century. He not only collects and restores such items, but also sells them and rents them out: his Mitskevich&Co shop has been operating in the center of Odesa for four years.

The hero of the episode outlined current trends in interior design and gave a forecast for the next ten years.
He noted the growing interest in the restoration and renovation of chairs and lighting fixtures from the recent past, because these things are not only trendy but also comfortable.
The collector spoke about the excitement of treasure hunting offline and on Violity. He expressed his opinion on the state of the modern Ukrainian school of restorers and discussed with Kateryna the problems of preserving cultural heritage, in particular the attitude to architectural antiques.
