Unusual Porsche from the 80s put up for auction in the USA
A Porsche 911 Turbo Flachbau with retractable headlights was put up for sale at the American auction RM Sotheby’s. It is planned that it will be sold for more than $300,000.

The small four-seater sports car is noted for its excellent state of preservation, as noted on the auction website. Its mileage in 37 years is only 8,500 km.
The technical component is represented by a 3.3-liter boxer turbo six with 330 forces with a 5-speed manual transmission, which allows the car to accelerate to hundreds in 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 278 km/h.

The equipment of this version is expanded: the Porsche 911 Turbo Flachbau has climate control, electric seats, a sunroof, a Blaupunkt radio and an alarm system. The sports car came out to be almost twice as expensive as the standard 911 Turbo.
This sports car was delivered by Autoplaza from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in July 1988. It has changed only three owners. In November 2024, Exoticars Workshop in Wexford, Pennsylvania, performed an oil change and brake service, installed new Pirelli tires, and more.
