A 92-year-old convertible from Chrysler is up for sale in the United States
A 1932 Chrysler Imperial convertible has been put up for sale at RM Sotheby's auction in the US. Bidding is scheduled for mid-October 2024 and the auctioneers believe that the final bid will reach around $650,000.

The value of this convertible is due to the fact that there are only 12 1932 Chrysler Imperial LeBarons left today. It is this model that is considered the most expensive in the entire history of the American automaker.
The flagship model of this car is highly valued by collectors. They pay special attention to exclusive modifications with custom-made bodies. Their price can exceed several million dollars.

This is the cabriolet for sale. The car has a body from the LeBaron atelier: in 1932, only 29 such cars were produced, and only 12 of them have survived to this day.
Monumental design with a lot of chrome, long hood, interior with leather and wood elements. The technical part is represented by a 6.3-liter inline eight with a capacity of 125 hp. The maximum speed that this Chrysler Imperial can develop is 155 km/h.

After a thorough restoration in its original Amboy Beige over a red interior, the car was proudly displayed at the Antique Automobile Club of America. Was honored with the Eastern Division National President's Cup and the James Melton Memorial Cup.

The 1932 Chrysler Imperial convertible also competed in the fields of the Classic Car Club of America.
